Twenty Eight Days!

Twenty eight days sounds so much closer than four weeks. Busy, busy days around here.

Thanks for the messages of concern for my kids riding out Hurricane Isaac. This picture is from the lakefront area where they live. Thankfully for them, they live about 2 miles inland from the lakefront. Some downed trees, lots and lots of rain, some days without power but they are all alright. Thoughts and prayers for the thousands who didn't fare as well. I am saddened by those who lost property and even more so, lost loved ones.

The kids were sure glad to see this sight. If you have never lived on the Gulf Coast, let me tell you, this is a welcome sight after a storm. I am always amazed at the thousands of utility workmen that come from all over the country.

In other news, these two cutie patooties as well as their momma, come home on Tuesday! We are excited.

A quick peek before I go, this will be Master Hank's romper. Until another time, faithful reader.
